Vagabond Soul

VAGABOND SOUL HISTORY (1984-1986)

Vagabond Soul featured the music of Timothy J. Swenson and was active in the early mid 1980s, playing scores of gigs in Orange County and Long Beach, California.

With an emphasis on strong writing and playing, Vagabond Soul were sometimes compared to other rock and roots bands like the Replacements. Staking a virtual claim to the tiny stage area of the equaly tiny but hugely hip Huntington Beach club, Safari Sam's, Vagabond Soul built a firm fan base, fighting the tide of the mid-80s punk revival with a fierce, roots rock intensity of their own.
